All Saints Church, Church Lane, West Parley.

There are some lovely walks along the Stour Valley way from here. Turn right out of Stour Park and the charming tiny church of All Saints is found at the very bottom of the lane next to the river Stour (5 minutes walk from here).

It is supposed that the church stood where it in in Saxon times and replaced by the present building in the 12thcentury using materials from the original building.

The nave is 12th century with the chancel probably dating from the 14th century. The present turret dates from the late 19th century. It was damaged by storms in 1984 when the wood was replaced with plastic cladding and the bell mountings repaired. The porch was restored in 1900.

Services 8.00am – A quiet reflective service of Holy Communion.

1st and 3rd Sundays in the month –  Book of common prayer (traditional).
